Triangle Community has been part of the City of Sandwich, IL for over 40 years. Located west of Aurora and home to more than 7,000 residents, Sandwich offers a wonderful quality of life. Train Service in nearby Plano, multiple churches and schools, a golf course, library, hospital, shopping and the Fox Valley Older Adult Services are just some of the things that bring people here and make them want to stay.
Sandwich has been home to the famous Sandwich Fair since 1889. Every Fall, the city is bustling as folks come from near and far to see the oldest county fair in the State of Illinois!
Edgebrook Golf Club is a mature, wooded and scenic golf course that is rated “4 Stars” in the Chicagoland area by Chicagoland Golf Magazine. Home of the DeKalb County Amateur, it is an 18 hole course that also offers two practice putting greens, one chipping green, one practice bunker and a full lighted driving range. Special Senior rates available for golfers over 60 years of age.
Fox Valley Older Adults Services, just down the street, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services to improve and enrich the lives of senior citizens allowing them to remain in their homes and participate in community life. The Senior Center offers hot lunch daily and also features a lovely banquet hall for parties and meetings.
Amtrak Train Service is available in nearby Plano (just 5 miles from Sandwich) where you can arrive downtown Chicago in just 75 minutes.
